Mrs. Kimball, the Level 2 teacher, is a wonderfully inspiring teacher. Level 2 kids enjoy student-directed, project-based learning that is supported by Open Court Reading and Saxon Math. Mrs. Kimball’s students love to be in school. Each day they arrive at school with their homework folders, lunches and positive attitudes. She creates her curriculum based on the interests of her students and the Arizona Academic Standards. She is able to meet the individualized learning goals for her students and to maintain a high level of student engagement. Mrs. Kimball’s classroom is both fun and academically challenging for each child. Level 2 has students from 5 to 8 years old in a 1st and 2nd grade combined classroom.
