Miss Mattie Dundas
Miss Mattie Dundas was born in Prescott, Arizona. She moved to Flagstaff in
2006 to attend Northern Arizona University. She graduated from NAU with a
Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2009. She has taught at Willow
Creek Charter School for a year as the Level 1 teacher. She has worked with
children ages 4 to 13 for 5 years and loves it. She uses hands-on activities in
her classroom and believes that all children should enjoy learning. Ms. Mattie
Dundas is dedicated and determined to make her classroom a safe and welcoming
place for every child that comes in. Her goal is to make children lifelong
learners.

Miss Sabrina Freeman
Miss Sabrina Freeman is our Level 2 Instructor
teaching 1st and 2nd grade. Sabrina received her
Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education at Arizona State
University. She has many years of experience working with children aged
Kindergarten through 5th grade and genuinely loves being a part of a
child's educational experience. Ms. Freeman holds each student to a high
standard and believes that all students should be thought of as individual
identities with different needs. She knows that children learn best when they
are comfortable in their environment and strives to make her class like a
family, where students sincerely care about each other. Outside of school, Ms.
Freeman loves the outdoors and spends all of her free time with her daughter.

Mrs. Beverly Bean
Mrs. Beverly Bean has been a teacher at Willow Creek Charter since its
inception. She earned a degree in Animal Health technology and then received her
Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University in
1996. Mrs. Bean is a long time resident of Prescott. She and her husband moved
here in 1980 and have raised their three children in the area. She loves the
outdoors and enjoys traveling. Hiking, mountain biking, and camping are some of
her favorite pastimes. She has a warm, gentle manner that fosters a structured
and challenging learning environment. Mrs. Bean strives to make learning an
adventure.

Miss Tamara Robinson
Miss Tamara Robinson grew up in Bath,
Ohio and received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from
Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She has a wealth of teaching experience, both
public and private, in grades pre-school through high school; the longest stint
being fifth grade at a private school. Miss Robinson has a minor in mathematics
and truly enjoys making math interesting, learnable, and even fun. Her interests
go beyond math into all core subjects and include outdoor education and the
arts. Her educational philosophy is one with a humanistic touch where she
believes in the whole child and wishes to impart a love of learning for the
children to transfer into lifelong skills of learning, exploring and
socializing. Her classroom has been described as one with respect, care,
challenge, and concrete expectations. Miss Robinson employs a variety of
teaching styles she has gathered from her 30 plus years of teaching in order to
successfully reach a variety of learning styles. Miss Robinson has been teaching
in the Prescott area since she moved to Arizona in 1994 with her daughter Emma.
She loves to teach.

Miss Monique Jaimes
Miss Jaimes
believes in a strong community foundation to facilitate a safe environment for
students to learn. Miss Jaimes believes Willow Creek Charter School provides a
safe, family type environment for students, parents, and staff. 7th and 8th
graders are very social and thrive on strong peer connections. Willow Creek
Charter provides a small, intimate environment which builds strong friendships
that last. The relationships between teachers and students support learning and
success. Miss Jaimes received her Baccalaureate degree in Elementary Education
from University of Phoenix and studied Art Education at Northern Arizona
University. Miss Jaimes believes in integrating the arts and providing cross
curriculum whenever possible for students to make real life connections. Miss Jaimes
and her son are new to Prescott but grew up in Arizona. Miss Jaimes enjoys photography, hiking,
and reading. They are enjoying exploring the Prescott area and are hoping to get
into kayaking soon.

Mrs. Terese Soto
Mrs. Terese Soto earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from
Moorhead State University in Minnesota in 1982 and her K-12 Art Endorsement in
1990. She has been teaching in Arizona since 1985 and in the Prescott area since
1988. She has taught as a classroom teacher in K-8 classrooms, taught Fine Arts
K-8 and moved to administration in 2001, as Co-Director in 2003 and as Director
in 2006. Mrs. Soto has been a part of Willow Creek Charter since its inception
in 1999 and she was instrumental in creating the curriculum for the Fine Arts
Program, which includes visual arts, theater, music and movement. Mrs. Soto has
seen many changes in the Educational System and one common thread that stays
consistent in her mind is that education is and should be all about the
children. Terese believes the small family-like atmosphere at WCC enhances and
enables teachers to educate students in a holistic approach that nurtures life
skills as well as academics. Throughout her career, her dedication,
determination, and creativity have inspired countless individuals.

Mrs. Shannon Lynch
Mrs. Shannon Lynch received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and
Sociology at Northern Arizona University. She went on to get her post-degree
dual teaching certification in Elementary and Special Education, concurrently
earning a Masters in Special Education. Her philosophy lies in encouraging the
development of each student's unique strengths as well as fostering a safe
environment in which to overcome individual challenges. She also strives to
integrate the arts throughout her curriculum and nurture an enthusiasm for
learning in her students.

Miss Jennifer L. Baker
M iss Jennifer is our school's Spanish and
Computer Club instructor. She helps students succeed in learning valuable skills
that will help them throughout their education and future work experiences. She
has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has 20 years of experience in
translation management, advertising, marketing and is currently an owner of a
local handyman service. Miss Jennifer's extensive experience working for a
translation company greatly enhances her ability to teach Spanish and
Jennifer is also our School's Finance Manager.

Mrs. Jennifer Fairbairn
Mrs. Jennifer Fairbairn received her BA from the University of South Alabama
where she majored in Communications and minored in English. Over the last
two and a half years, Jennifer has substitute taught for PUSD and Willow
Creek Charter in grades K-8. She is excited about her new position at Willow
Creek Charter School serving as the Head of Reading Development. She is
looking forward to developing a balanced reading/literacy program that
emphasizes comprehension strategies, reading fluency and written expression.
Her belief is that each child is a unique learner with unique talents and
potential. Jennifer strongly believes that teachers need to do more than
simply teach, they must inspire each student to rise to his or her
potential. It is the teacher's responsibility to facilitate a love of
learning and of succeeding, not just academically, but in all areas of life.
It is her goal to assist Willow Creek Charter students to achieve the goals
set forth and to create an environment where each student feels inspired and
accepted. Jennifer hopes to spark a love of reading among her students.

Mrs. Jeanne Schultz has been the Office Manager at Willow
Creek Charter School since January, 2004. Mrs. Jeanne Schultz received her
Bachelor of Science degree in Management with an emphasis in Personnel
Management from Arkansas State University in 1986. She has always enjoyed
working with people in an office setting and problem solving situations.
