COVID-19 School Safety Update

December 2, 2020

Due to the AZ Department of Health Services benchmark data and the Yavapai County Community Health Services data indicating that the number of COVID cases is increasing significantly, Willow Creek Charter School will be following our original Mitigation Plan. The Plan requires us to conduct school online once the benchmarks go into the Substantial Transmission (red) zone. In order to help parents plan for this change, we would like to keep students on campus through Thursday, December 10th

December 11th – 18th will be online only for ALL classes.

We will provide guidance for the 3rd quarter at the end of this semester, as we continue to monitor the health and safety data.

During online distance learning, we will be offering free on-site learning support services that are available to a limited number of students with specific needs or require a place to go during the day to access our Distance Online Learning. Please contact your child’s teachers directly regarding needs in this area.

The school and county data is below for your review:

If you have any questions, please contact (928) 776-1212 ext. 0.

Sincerely,

Jennifer L. Baker

Director
