IMPORTANT ONSITE REOPENING DETAILS
Dear Parents,
We have been monitoring the health benchmark data provided by the AZ Department of
Health Services closely to determine the best plan for a safe in-person return to school. The
benchmarks indicate “Green” in all three benchmarks as of now, so we have decided to return to in person classes after Fall Break in phases (see below). This year, we will continue to monitor and follow the health benchmark guidelines and if they change, we may have to
return to an online distance learning plan. Please be flexible and patient as we ensure that
we follow the safest teaching model for your children. We will always keep you updated
Levels 1 & 2 - Students will be returning to in person classes full-time starting on:
Monday October 19, 2020
Monday – Thursday 8:15am–3:00pm
Fridays – Online classes following our Distance Learning Online schedule (students must be logged in by 8:30 am to be considered a full day)
Levels 3-5 - Students will be returning to in person classes full-time starting on:
Monday October 26,2020
Monday – Thursday 8:00 am–3:15 pm (Levels 3 & 4)
Monday – Thursday 8:00 am-4:00 pm (Level 5)
Friday - Online classes following our Distance Learning Online schedule (students must be logged in by 8:15 am to be considered a full day)
IMPORTANT:
Student illness protocol –if your child is sick, or displaying symptoms of any
illness, keep them home. They are not allowed on campus. All students need to
wear masks, complete a temperature and symptom check-in each morning, as well as observe all other rules/guidelines that are listed in our 2021 Handbook Addendum 8-10-20_rev2 (on-site learning procedures start on page 10):
