School Returns January 4th Online

December 15, 2020

Dear Parents/Guardians, Willow Creek Charter School will be starting the 3rd quarter of the 2020-21 year online on January 4, 2020. The AZ Department of Health Services benchmark data indicates that the recommended delivery model for schools in Yavapai County should be online only. Details on the benchmark data are below: https://www.azdhs.gov/preparedness/epidemiology-disease-control/infectious-disease-epidemiology/index.php#novel-coronavirus-schools Please know that our goal is to get the students back in the classroom as soon as possible. We will be monitoring the data weekly to determine when it is safe to return to onsite teaching and keep you updated with any changes. During online distance learning, we will be offering free on-site learning support services that are available to a limited number of students with specific needs or require a place to go during the day to access our Distance Online Learning. Please contact your child’s teachers directly regarding needs in this area. The online classroom schedules are listed below for your reference. For each level, it indicates whether students or online/offline and the timeframes for attendance check-ins. Please note that all grade levels (except Kg) must sign in twice a day for attendance purposes. We will run online classes based on our regular schedule. For example, if your child’s class starts at 8:00, students must log in at that time in order to take morning attendance. If your child is out sick or will be out, please contact the office to let us know.
