Level 4: 5th and 6th grade

I’m excited to join the team at Willow Creek Charter! Before coming here, I taught 7th and 8th grade at Northpoint Academy and also had the privilege of teaching English as a Second Language to refugee students—an experience that deepened my passion for inclusive, student-centered education.

My journey working with kids began when I was just 15, helping in my church’s preschool nursery. Since then, I’ve worked at three different youth camps and stayed active in youth ministry through various youth groups. These experiences have shaped my approach to teaching: building strong, respectful relationships and encouraging students to grow both academically and personally.

In the classroom, I enjoy finding creative ways to connect middle school lessons to the real world—especially through projects and discussions that relate directly to our local community. Helping students see how their learning applies beyond the classroom is one of my favorite parts of teaching.

Outside of school, I enjoy playing hockey, kayaking, and savoring a good cup of coffee—especially with a book in hand on a rainy day.

I'm looking forward to a great year of learning and growing together with the Willow Creek Charter community!
